OVERVIEW
I was brought on as the re-recording mixer for the Czech and Slovak dubbing of Saint-Gobain’s football commercial. The process was efficient and seamless, and the client was happy with the final mix — so much so that I was later asked to handle the Macedonian version as well, despite not speaking the language.
Challenges & Approach
Strict loudness requirements were part of the brief, but meeting them was second nature. The turnaround times were tight, and some of the voiceover recordings needed cleanup — but with years of experience in audio restoration and a background in music, I’m well-versed in voice editing and was able to deliver a polished result efficiently.
The result
As previously mentioned, the client was very pleased with the final result — not only in terms of technical quality but also the overall feel and clarity of the mix. Their positive feedback reaffirmed the strength of the collaboration and led to further opportunities with other companies.
