Daftsins (aka dark$tar and Yung Graave) first started releasing music in the year 2018 with his first single called Hectic day. It was a simple start but he wasn’t happy with it so very soon he changed his musical direction. He released his first album called “Sins of Mine”. It gained him some traction but he still wasn’t satisfied.

Since then, Daftsins has changed his music direction six more times. The genres he used to make include lo-fi, piano music, techno, psytrance, bedroom pop, ambient, metal, and rap.

What sets Daftsins apart is his aspiration. He doesn’t want to be just a vocalist or just a producer, he does everything himself to produce art as he feels like is the best. His current style of music is genre-bending and is composed of hard bass, dreamy pads, auto-tuned high vocals, all-around cinematic atmosphere, and other influences which would be too much to list here.

Daftsins is sometimes really enigmatic; his lyrics are abstract as is his vision. With his 2021 album “ALT ALT” he introduced a concept of 2 alter-egos which he uses to bring all this favorite music genres into one music piece. That means that you will not only hear Daftsins with his normal voice in his tracks but also “Dark Star” with a higher voice and “Yung Grave” with a lower, raspy one. All his alter-egos are used for storytelling from different points of view and world-building never heard before in music.
